It is with great sadness that Diss Rugby Club marks the passing of Rhian Wyatt, a Life Member of the club and a much-loved part of the Diss Rugby family.
Alongside her husband Chris, a founding member of the club, Rhian dedicated countless hours to supporting Diss Rugby throughout her life. She was well known for preparing and serving senior teas on Saturdays and junior teas on Sundays, volunteering help was needed, accompanying the club on tours, and regularly attending 1st XV matches and club lunches.
Rugby and Diss Rugby Club were at the heart of family life for Rhian. Her three children all played rugby for the club, and she took great pride in supporting them and later her grandchildren, continuing a family connection that spans generations.
Rhian's warmth, generosity, and unwavering commitment to the club will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. She played a significant part in the life of Diss Rugby Club and will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Chris, their children, grandchildren, and the wider Wyatt family at this difficult time.
The Funeral service for Rhian will be held at Breckland Crematorium on the 3rd of July at 12 noon.
After the service, the family invite you to join them at Diss Rugby Club for refreshments, to celebrate Rhian's life and share fond memories. Family and friends are kindly invited to wear bright colours.
