Captain Chadders was a clear front runner for the role, selected by the walking rugby playing fraternity for his leadership and communication skills. Chadders possesses the ball handling skills of a marksman, and his tireless work around the paddock equates to an extra player on the pitch.

Diss RFC Honorary Secretary Dave Poulter commented, “It’s great to see the youngster step up and take some responsibility. I am sure he is looking forward to developing his organisational and people management skills. I wish him well.”
